Life | Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
This type of coverage provides financial protection for your loved ones in the event of a premature death or accident. Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) policies are designed to pay benefits to the beneficiary (such as a spouse or loved one) if the insured were to die from an unintentional/accidental death or dismemberment. This is a limited form of life insurance which is generally less expensive, and in some cases can be found as an added benefit within life insurance policies. There are many types of life insurance plan options and riders to choose from. We will help you review your life insurance needs to find personalized coverage, add peace of mind in some of life’s unknowns.

This type of Medicare plan becomes your secondary insurance with Original Medicare being your primary. Medicare Supplements, combined with Medicare, provide strong coverage and no provider networks (so you can go to any medical facility that accepts Medicare). Supplements do not include Prescription Drug coverage and do not provide extra benefits, such as dental and vision.
Advantage plans in essence become your Medicare plan and offer all the benefits of Original Medicare. With Advantage plans you generally have a co-pay or co-insurance for medical services. You can obtain your Prescription Drug coverage through your Advantage plan, thus only one medical card to carry. Most Advantage plans will have a network for providers and may offer extra benefits like vision and dental. They offer a monthly low premium, many starting at $0. Medicare Advantage plans allow you to “balance” premium and co-pay affordability.
Medicare Cost plans are only available in select counties in Minnesota. They are a hybrid of a Supplement and Advantage plan. They also allow you to “balance” premium and co-pay affordability.
Medicare Prescription Drug
For many individuals, their major monthly expense is the cost of their prescription drugs. Medicare Prescription Drug plans provide savings on monthly Rx costs in the form of a co-pay or co-insurance. You can obtain a Prescription Drug plan as a stand-alone or through your Medicare Advantage/Medicare Cost plan. Prescription Drug plans can have a deductible and co-pay or co-insurance. It is important to be sure all your prescriptions are included in your drug plan formulary.
